Pretty good start, but it still has that blocky tileset huh? There were a few resources that changed those tiles to allow round edges and it makes it look 10X nicer overall. But the setup looks good and it's gonna be a pretty big world xD gotta love the big worlds!

Well to be honest..this maybe is just 1/2 of the map......even on 1/8 view you can't see anything lol..

Where can if find the new resources?To make it round...()

There's a link to the round tileset in the directory of Resource forum section on the official site of RMVXA. Can't remember who did it but it looks epic when used in a game.

It changes the edges to make them look extremely realistic so it's definitely a boost to the overall game.

Yeah it'll also help that 1/8 graphics so they are more visual when zoomed out rather than become little dots on squares xD

Yep, makes those edges much nicer and smooth enough to show some details too. Not sure but I think it also had the mountains and trees too with a more rounded effect so they didn't look like squares lol.

Yeah, I think you can use the regular RMVX tileset too since they have the rounded versions of all of them made for it already.

Go to RPGmakerVX.net I believe is their forum site. You can pretty much use any and all resources from there except the scripts of course since they aren't modified for ACE. But any tilesets would be usable by ACE so that's what's good about it. Think they have a database that links to resources so you might be able to find the rounded versions of the A tilesets for A1-A2

And when you figure that all out so it looks flawless and rounded it'll be much nicer. Also when you add the Mirsu Island for that side quest or series of side quests, it should be a dragon head shape xP kinda like my avatar to the left. That was the actually shape of the real island called Mirsu so found it quite unique. It was the shape of a dragon head/neck with it's mouth open lol and it had two smaller islands in front of the "mouth" that made it appear to breathe fire, thud giving it the name "Dragon Island". Pretty cool that my island is based off a realistic one xP

Lmao yeah it was pretty cool. I think it was located somewhere around ancient Babylonian area? not sure on that or if it's even still there. But I learned about it in a history class during high school lol. There was apparently some massive bloody war that went on there between two nations. Sounds familiar eh xP I did a lot based on what I learned about that island and just changed everything involved in the incidents. For me the two nations was Yuriton and the Dragon Legion. Although there was like 27 nations on the island itself in my story. It basically because a "conquer" idea where the two would have to gather as many of the allies as possible by whatever means to fight each other with. I just found it interesting that the island I named mine after actually appeared like a dragon head xD

Yeah tons of games use realistic history mixed with their own especially locations. Example: Avalon was a real place lol, Lion's Arch was a name given to a castle in Europe, Ethersaur was a city in the middle east names for the region around it. And those are three of the biggest zones in modern MMO's and sometimes used in platform games as well. Atlantis would be another.

Big battles like the 100 year war and World War are also commonly used. Although the games don't use guns, the world war idea still takes effect. Two sides fighting against each other with their allies, sound familiar? World of Warcraft uses that, Jade Dynasty uses that, and even Star Wars lol. The 4 sided battle style is becoming quite common now too. Perfect World added their expansion that has 4 nations battling in all out combat for 2 hours two days each week. So that was interesting. It's the same thing Guild Wars 2 had when it was released lol, although theirs is only 3 sided pvp and always open to take over other world's castles and towers xP.

Most games I know follow some form of history even without knowing it xP
